  • Powell Flutes - Customer Service / Product Specialist

    Powell Flutes, established in 1927 and part of the international Buffet Crampon Group since 2016, is one of the world’s most iconic and prestigious musical instrument manufacturers. Located in the western suburbs of Boston, we are searching for an experienced Customer Service Representative/ Product Specialist. The successful candidate will help support the Boston area sales team which services all of North America.

    Projects

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will support the sales team with the following responsibilities:

    1. Manage customer service inquiries for all channels / product lines. This will include email, phone and social media and communication from Powell Authorized Dealers, INTERCO Dealers,and Direct Customers.
    2. Manage shipping inquiries and logistics, working with appropriate team members on the 4 th floor.
    3. Knowledge of all Powell products / product lines.
    4. Since INTERCO communication will be Sonare heavy, detailed product focus on this line will be required.
    5. Manage customer service communications, escalating further to the Sales Representative or Sales Manager when required.

    Required profile

    SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
    -Excellent command of the English language, including writing and presentation skills.
    -Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require
    high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to collect accurate information, assess
    situations, and make decisions.
    -Solid computer skills including knowledge of commonly used MS Office software and
    social media formats.
    -Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    -Bachelor’s degree required.
    -Additional language ability preferred.
    -Flute player preferred.
