      Projects

      Finishers are responsible for final technical and aesthetic operations.

      Responsibilities include fitting of the Headjoint and Footjoint, fitting of the mechanics, installation of springs, pads, and corks, as well all adjustments and polishing as needed.

      The position demands excellent time management skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, patience, and the openness to feedback.

      Attention to detail and the ability to work cooperatively will lead to success.

      The position is based in Maynard, Massachusetts at our workshop.

      Required profile

      The ideal candidate would have 2 – 3 years of experience with detailed mechanical assembly, metalworking, and bench work, though we are open to training motivated candidates without such experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to play the flute or another musical instrument is a plus.

        A CNC programmer-Operator is responsible for programming, setting-up and running Swiss Screw Machine by Tsugami, Haas Lathe and Okuma. They understand and monitor tooling, offset compensations and adjustments for CNC lathes.

        Experience milling, operating CNC mill Brother machines by Yamazen and the ability to program using Master Cam is a plus.

        The position is based in Maynard, Massachusetts at our workshop. 

        Required profile

        A successful candidate would have the ability to read and understand work instructions from drawings and R&D sketches. Use of measuring and inspection tools: Comparator, Vernier, micrometer, height gauges. And the ability to service and maintain machines

        Working methodically and efficiently, dependability and attention to detail a must

        Seeking of 5 yrs. CNC lathe experience, CNC mill experience helps.

          Our Key makers string the keys on the body tubing of flutes.

          They are responsible for preparation of precious metal machined and casted part with files, grinding wheels, bench motors, polishing equipment, reamers and other tools.

          Precision is required to fit the parts to tolerances of .0001”. Use of small lathes, drill presses and other bench-top machinery.

          The position demands expertise in gold and silver metalworking, soldering, a strong understanding of geometry and dimensions, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, patience, and openness to feedback. 

          The position is based in Maynard, Massachusetts at our workshop. 

          Required profile

                The European Sales, Marketing, and Product Manager position is responsible for all pro flute sales in Europe for the Powell and Parmenon brands, marketing for the entire flute range, and for managing the entire range of flute products.

                 

                Sales

                • Achieve Pro Flute Sales Budget Targets for Buffet Crampon SAS (BCSAS) and Buffet Crampon Deutschland (BCD) business units
                • Manage and maintain existing distribution network and dealer accounts
                • Define, manage, and execute distribution growth in the European territories
                • Define, manage, and execute pro flute sales policies and sales agreements
